What does busyness mean?
A 0–3 score: Quiet, Moderate, Busy, or Packed. When someone in the lounge has reported recently we show that as Live. Otherwise we predict from scheduled departures and past reports, or fall back to what is typical for this lounge at this time of week. Closed lounges are marked Closed. Estimates are not official occupancy from the lounge operator.
How current is the data?
A live report counts for about two hours, with newer reports weighted more heavily. Predictions refresh as departure boards update. Each pin shows its source and a confidence meter so a modelled guess is never dressed up as a live reading.
Do I need the app?
The map is public. Open FrequentFlyer on iOS to check whether you can access a lounge with your cards and status, file a busyness report, and get notified when a favourite lounge fills up.
